We are not responsible for any refusal of importation, seizure, confiscation, customs restrictions, or other consequences arising from laws or regulations applicable to you or the destination country, except where required by applicable law.

Article 8: Payment and Charges

The price of each product will be displayed on the applicable product page or at checkout. Unless otherwise stated, all prices are displayed in the currency specified for the applicable market and may be subject to applicable taxes, duties, shipping fees, and other charges.

  2. Available Payment Methods
We accept credit cards and other payment methods made available through our Website, which may include PayPal, Alipay, AlipayHK, and WeChat Pay. The payment methods available to you may vary depending on your country or region, the applicable market, and other circumstances.

  3. Payment Processing
Payment will be processed through the applicable payment service provider at the time and in accordance with the terms displayed at checkout. 4. Payment Authorization and Order Cancellation
If a payment cannot be authorized or completed for any reason, we may cancel or suspend the applicable order and may request that you provide an alternative payment method. Any such action will be taken in accordance with these Terms and applicable law.

  5. Taxes and Additional Charges
Depending on your country or region and the applicable laws and regulations, taxes, customs duties, import taxes, payment processing fees, or other charges may apply in addition to the product price and shipping fees. Article 9: Cancellations, Returns, and Replacements

  1. Order Cancellation
Once an order has been placed, you may not cancel the order, even if the order has not yet been shipped or delivered. We generally do not accept cancellations, returns, or exchanges for reasons attributable to the customer after an order has been placed, except where required by applicable law.

  2. Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Products

After your order has been delivered, we may accept a return or provide a replacement if you receive an incorrect product or, subject to the limitations applicable to pre-owned products described below, a product that is defective or damaged.

If you believe that your order is incorrect, defective, or damaged upon arrival, please contact us at support@akihabara-x.com within eight (8) days of receiving the package. We will provide instructions regarding the applicable return or replacement procedure.

If a replacement product is unavailable or out of stock, we may issue a refund in accordance with these Terms and applicable law.

  3. Condition of Pre-Owned and Unopened Products

Most products sold through our Website are pre-owned, used, or previously owned items. Such products may have signs of use, wear, aging, deterioration, scratches, stains, discoloration, missing parts, or other characteristics consistent with their age and prior use.

The condition descriptions provided on our Website reflect the condition of the item at the time we purchased it from the seller. In particular, where an item was unopened or sealed at the time of our purchase, we were unable to inspect or verify the detailed condition of the contents inside the original packaging. Accordingly, we cannot guarantee the condition, completeness, functionality, or absence of deterioration of the contents of an unopened item unless expressly stated in the product description.

Except where required by applicable law, we do not accept returns, replacements, refunds, or other claims based solely on the condition, wear, deterioration, or other characteristics of a pre-owned product that were reasonably apparent from the product description, photographs, or other information provided on our Website.

  4. Opening and Inspection of Your Package

Because many of our products are pre-owned and some products may have been unopened or sealed prior to our purchase, we strongly recommend that you record a continuous video while opening your package and inspecting the product for the first time.

An opening video can help document the condition of the package and product at the time of delivery and may assist us in reviewing and resolving a claim in the unlikely event that the product is found to be damaged, defective, incorrect, or otherwise materially different from the description upon opening.

While recording an opening video is not a mandatory condition for submitting a claim, we recommend doing so for your own protection and to help facilitate a smooth resolution should any issue arise.

  5. Damage Discovered After Opening or Use

Because our products are primarily pre-owned items, we cannot guarantee that a product will remain in the same condition after opening, unpacking, assembly, use, or handling.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be responsible for damage, breakage, deterioration, or other issues that occur or are discovered after opening, assembly, use, modification, or handling of a product, except as expressly provided in Section 2 of this Article or where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

  6. Unauthorized Returns

ou must not return any product without first contacting us and receiving return instructions. If you return a product without our prior authorization, you are responsible for all costs associated with the return, including shipping charges, customs duties, taxes, and any other applicable fees.

We may refuse to accept an unauthorized return or may deduct such costs from any refund otherwise payable to you, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

  7. Applicable Law

Nothing in this Article limits any rights or remedies that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Article 10: Shipping and Delivery

  1. Shipping Methods
Orders are shipped via EMS/IAP or DHL, and other shipping methods may be available for select countries or regions. The shipping methods available for your order may vary depending on the destination country, product characteristics, and other circumstances.

  2. Shipping Fees
Shipping fees are automatically calculated based on the products purchased, the shipping method available, and the shipping address provided at checkout.

  3. Changes to Shipping Address
If you request a change to your shipping address after placing an order, additional fees may apply. We may also be unable to accommodate an address change after the order has been shipped or processed by the applicable shipping provider.

  4. Customs Duties and Other Charges
Customs duties, import taxes, VAT, and other fees or charges may apply depending on the destination country and applicable laws and regulations. Unless otherwise expressly stated, all such charges are the responsibility of the customer.

  5. Delivery Delays and Customs
Delivery dates and estimated delivery times are not guaranteed and may be affected by customs procedures, weather, transportation issues, strikes, governmental actions, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for delays, non-delivery, customs clearance issues, or other consequences arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control or from information provided by the customer that is inaccurate or incomplete.
